HopeWorks is a Christian nonprofit serving low-income seniors, by helping them remain safely and securely in their homes. Through essential home repairs, weatherization, and relational care, HopeWorks works to preserve dignity, independence, and hope for some of the most vulnerable members of the community.

Grounded in its Christ-centered mission, HopeWorks combines practical service with spiritual care, ensuring seniors are not only supported physically but also known, valued, and loved. The organization’s work is made possible through dedicated staff, volunteers, and an engaged board committed to stewarding its mission well.

The need

HopeWorks was preparing for a leadership transition following the retirement of a long-tenured Executive Director. The board recognized the importance of identifying a leader who could honor the organization’s legacy while also guiding it confidently into its next season.

This role required a seasoned nonprofit leader with strong operational and financial acumen, the ability to partner closely with a board, and the relational wisdom to lead staff, donors, and volunteers through a season of change. Just as important, HopeWorks sought a leader whose faith and calling aligned deeply with its Christ-centered mission and heart for serving widows and seniors.
