Church Project

About Church Project

Founded in 2010 in The Woodlands, Texas, Church Project began as a Church of House Churches™, returning to the simple, biblical model of gathering, leading, and living as the early church did. What started with 40 people and two House Churches has grown into a movement of thousands meeting locally and globally. Guided by its Ecclesiological DNA™ (eDNA)—decentralized leadership, diverse discipleship, and simplicity for generosity—Church Project seeks to change the way people see Christ, Christians, and the Church. The Chief Ministry Officer (CMO) will advance this mission by building strong partnerships with 15–25 local non-profits, overseeing financial and volunteer engagement, and mobilizing resources to meet community needs. This servant-hearted leader will embody the church’s vision of faith in action through collaboration, generosity, and love for the community. Other wishlist items were that the candidate be:

  • A passionate follower of Jesus fully aligned with Church Project’s mission and DNA.
  • Experienced in community outreach, non-profit collaboration, and partnership development.
  • Strategic, organized leader skilled in communication, problem-solving, and volunteer coordination.
  • Embodiment of servant leadership, humility, and a heart for transformative community impact.
