About the Pastor of Family Ministries

The Pastor of Family Ministries is a senior leadership position responsible for working under the direction of the Teaching Pastor Team to implement Fellowship’s vision and strategy for Family Ministries across all campuses. Family Ministries consists of the following ministry teams: Kids, Students, Special Needs, and Childcare.

The Pastor of Family Ministries’ responsibilities include:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Help integrate and innovate Fellowship’s vision and strategy for Family Ministries across all campuses
  • Work in conjunction with campus pastors to hire, develop, and shepherd family ministry staff across all campuses
  • Oversee the West Little Rock campus Family Ministry team
  • Work alongside the Pastor of Adult Discipleship to ensure coordination of discipleship initiatives and ministry events
  • Fully participate on the Central Leadership Team and engage in church-wide leadership initiatives as needed
  • Work to ensure that all Family Ministries follow the Fellowship 3D document for campuses.
  • Provide care (hospital visits, funerals, prayer etc.) as needed for families Initiate, oversee, and execute various activities for families to engage with Fellowship throughout the year (Family Fest, Advent, etc.)
  • Cooperate with the Care and Adult Discipleship teams in equipping parents and marriages to produce healthier families
  • Be accessible to families at Fellowship for counseling, encouragement, and/or to hear their needs from various departments within Family Ministries
  • Visit Fellowship campuses and family ministries regularly for encouragement and evaluation.
  • Service Pastor in various venues as needed
  • Attend worship on Sunday mornings at the West Little Rock campus
  • Other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Required – Master’s degree from an accredited seminary
  • Preferred- 10 years of ministry experience in a multisite church context

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Eager to serve on a team with staff members
  • Understands how to manage the tension of serving on multiple teams in the same context
  • ​​Proven leader with high leadership capacity
  • Constant learner who is eager to grow in ministry and leadership
  • Able to initiate and drive projects to completion without constant oversight
  • Ability to communicate well from the stage

  • Committed to Fellowship Bible Church’s mission, values, and beliefs
  • High relational capacity and a servant’s heart
  • Handle confidential information in a Christ like and professional manner
  • A heart to serve the Lord and grow his Kingdom
  • If not a member of Fellowship Bible Church, will commit to going through the membership process
  • Regular involvement in Fellowship Bible Church activities and events
  • Signed acknowledgement of Fellowship Bible Church’s “Confession of Faith” form
  • Signed acknowledgement to policies and procedures as stated in Fellowship Bible Church’s Employee Manual
  • Living out the spiritual principles outlined in the “Code of Conduct”
