Chris brings more than 25 years of pastoral ministry experience to the executive search team at Vanderbloemen. Over the course of his career, he has served in a variety of ministry roles, including Student Pastor, Church Planter, Campus Pastor, and Senior Pastor, leading and serving churches in Alabama, Florida, Connecticut, and Texas.

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Chris attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He later completed his Master of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School at Samford University.

Chris is passionate about helping organizations flourish. He enjoys serving as a strategist for organizations, churches and ministries, partnering with leaders to cultivate healthy culture, clarify vision, ensure strong team fit, and build effective leadership.

Chris and his wife Sonya live in Houston and have three children. As a family, they enjoy spending time together in the country, at the beach, and hanging out with their elderly dachshund, Hallie. Chris is also an avid sports fan who enjoys golf and football, especially cheering on his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide. (Roll Tide!)
