Christ Community Church (C3) in Memphis is a non-denominational church focused on helping people follow Jesus and live out His teachings. The church emphasizes worship, teaching, and community, creating a culture of belonging, growth, and service. Led by elders and supported by various ministries for all ages, C3 encourages members to experience God’s presence while actively serving and impacting their community.
About the Women’s Pastor
The Women’s Pastor will provide pastoral care and discipleship for the women of C3, meeting a need Pastor Segars cannot fill. Responsibilities include weekly counseling and discipleship, leading women’s groups and events, collaborating with the women’s ministry coordinator, and managing the ministry’s budget and communications. Ultimately, this role is designed to empower women to discover their spiritual gifts and move from being mere attendees to active participants in the Great Commission

The Women’s Pastor‘s responsibilities include:
The Women’s Pastor at C3 is called to shepherd and disciple the women of the church. This role serves as a vital bridge, ensuring that every woman—from the newcomer to the long-standing member—feels seen, known, and spiritually challenged. This position is essential for fostering a healthy, well-rounded church culture where every demographic is spiritually accounted for.
- Meeting weekly with women for discipleship, counseling, and care
- Leading and overseeing women’s discipleship groups and the Women’s Connection Team
- Providing faith-building programs, events, and inclusive gatherings for women of all ages.
- Managing communications, social media, and ministry budget
- Collaborating with the women’s ministry event coordinator for all events.
- Delivering occasional teachings or devotionals at ministry gatherings, retreats, or small group leader huddles to provide consistent spiritual direction.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Relevant credentials in Christian ministry are expected.
- A master’s degree in ministry, theology, or a related field is a plus.
- This is a pastoral role, involving spiritual leadership, mentorship, and ministry experience.
